A fantastic personal service from initial enquiry to finished installation. John came and talked us through the options and it was refreshing to have some help us rather than sell us “the most expensive” Installation - jack and his mate (sorry can’t remember his name) were so respectful of our home. They got on with the job and then once installed talked us through it all. Beki in the office was brilliant too, answering questions, and communicating everything all the way through the process. We recently had a solar and battery system installed by Solar Select, and  couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Our daughter had used Solar Select last year and spoke very highly of them, praising their knowledge, helpfulness, and overall service. Based on her recommendation, we included them when gathering quotes from several companies. Not only were they the most competitive, but they also impressed us from the outset. Before providing a quote, they carried out a full survey of my property and offered genuinely useful advice during the visit. This level of care and expertise gave us confidence, and it was one of the key reasons we chose to go ahead with Solar Select. Although supply issues meant they couldn’t source the originally quoted equipment within a sensible timeframe, they went above and beyond by offering a higher‑spec GoodWe system at the same price. That level of integrity is rare and very much appreciated. Scaffolding was put up the day before installation, and the full system was completed over three days. The workmanship was excellent—professional, tidy, and clearly carried out with pride. Communication throughout was also first‑class; every question was answered in a friendly and informative way. The system was generating power immediately after commissioning, and performance has been superb. One outstanding issue remained: ensuring that my EV charger didn’t draw power from the battery system, which would have drained it quickly. Initially it seemed like a software tweak would solve it, but it became clear that a significant wiring change and an additional fuseboard were required. Solar Select handled all of this at no extra cost, which speaks volumes about their commitment to doing the job properly. In summary, Solar Select have been a pleasure to deal with at every stage. They respond quickly, communicate clearly, and deliver work to a very high standard. We are extremely happy with our installation, and the system is performing beyond expectations. I contacted Solar Select to help with a Solar PV system that I inherited on our property with no supporting paperwork. I have to say that they were very easy to speak to and Debbie was very helpful, once they understood what was needed they made arrangements to come out to service the system and provide the electrical certificates. Brilliant service from the very start. I was given very good and sound advice as to how to extend my battery system/ Then there were a few issues with the installation but Solar Select could not have been more helpful in getting things sorted. and quickly. I am very pleased with my solar system from Solar Select!😀 John came to my house first to talk me through what system would be best for me and my house. (He even enjoyed my cup of tea, not many people do, which really sealed the deal!) He was great and very informative, making it as easy as possible for me to understand ( which is difficult!) Then Brendan did all the technical stuff and I saw the plans and a couple of quotes. I accepted the one I wanted, and paid the £1.00 deposit. Next thing scaffolding was up, panels on the roof and my system is all set up! Job's a goodun!😀. All done, from start to finish, in 30 days! Thanks also to Becky for organising everything and putting up with me on the phone 😆. 1. Replaced a faulty Inverter & identified that there was also a faulty optimiser of 16  panels. 6 of which were lower, on a garage roof, with the others in two groups of 5 higher up on the house roof. 2.It was decided that it was not cost effective to examine the upper 10. But was worth investigating those lower down. 3. The advice, costing & organisation by Debbie Stanley, was particularly  helpful efficient. 4. The Engineers deployed were also excellent.
