We are a PAS 2030 registered installer, meaning we meet the requirements for Green Deal and ECO installations.
PAS 2030 is the industry specification for which all energy efficiency installers must be certified to, and compliant with, when carrying out energy efficiency measures under government initiatives such as ECO. PAS 2030 sets the requirements for competence, technical ability and quality to ensure the work meets the required standard.

OLEV Approved
Solar Select are OLEV (Office for Low Emission Vehicles) approved
OLEV is a UK government office that provides support and incentives for low-emission vehicles and related infrastructure.
While OLEV itself does not issue accreditations, it sets the standards and guidelines for many programs and schemes related to low-emission vehicles and charging infrastructure.
The main reason you should have your electric vehicle charging point installed by an OLEV-approved installer is that it helps you qualify for an EVHS grant for individuals or for a WCS grant for businesses (subject to approval). OLEV-approved car charging points conform to 18th edition IET wiring regulations. This means that your charging point conforms to UK safety standards and at Solar Select, we’re all about setting standards and we believe this should be across all the services we deliver.

Home Insulation & Energy Systems Quality Assured Contractors Scheme (HIES), is a UK-based organisation that provides accreditation to companies offering energy-efficient home improvement services, including insulation and renewable energy systems. HIES ensures that its accredited members, like Solar Select, adhere to high-quality standards in their work.
Installer Warranty
Accredited companies under HIES offer their customers an installer warranty*. This warranty covers the workmanship and installation of the products. HIES also requires its accredited members to provide deposit and guarantee insurance. This insurance protects the customer’s deposit and the guarantee for the work carried out, ensuring that they are safeguarded.
